Loving this weight loss!

I saw a friend of mine I haven't seen since Xmas today. He was really shocked, surprised and very happy for me. He kept saying "gee you look good!" - so I'm suitably happy with that. I really hate that it has all slowed down so much for me especially as I see all my other banding mates doing exceptionally well....jealously is a wasted emotion I know.

I'm going to start keeping an eye on the scales once a week again and note it down so I can see there is still some difference from week to week. I may even contemplate some exercise - yeah we'll see.

I still have about 600gms to go till I hit the 20kg so next Monday when I weigh in I will be breathing out!

We are off to Maitland and N'Castle this weekend to visit my parents and go to Disney on Ice with the kids. Jess loves anything Disney and I can't wait to see the look on her face. Will post a photo so I can share.

What's this "suitably happy" crap. You should be stoked, jumping from the rafters, patting yourself on the back, yipeeee. Come on girl, you are allowed to give a little self praise after all your hard work.
Hey, re your next weigh in - go to the loo - 600gms is what you can loose on a good visit to the loo --so get that constipation out of your system and keep that bladder empty!!!
20kg - thats a lot of weight. You're heading to loose the same weight as 6-7 average newborn babies!!!!
Hope everyone enjoyed Disney, I can just imagine Jess's face. Love to see some photos.
Keep strong, lots of love

Hi there,
I've just finished reading every entry you've ever made. I live about 20km north west of Maitland and I'm due to be banded at the end of the month. You're a wonderful inspiration and to have lost 20kg is wonderful. I've just come back from a quick trip on a plan and my bag was 20.5kg - I can't imagine carrying that dead weight around every moment of the day - I could barely lift it at all!! Imagine how much stress has been removed from your heart. You're a legend and I'll tune in regularly to see how you are going. I'm being done in Sydney as I could get in quicker. I start Optifast on the 17th - that's the scariest part in my head so far! Keep up the great work.

Can't wait to see the results of your weigh in - I know you will get there. It's Monday already, did you do it yet? Huh? Huh?

I hope you had a great weekend - sounds like fun.

Thanks for your comment on my blog - I know where you're coming from - reading can do your head in. I'm looking forward to some reassurance from my surgeon this thursday. Through all the trepidation I'm so excited that this could be the long term help I've searched for all these years. Thanks for your support.
