I survived !

You lot didn't tell me that'd hurt !! The trip to the hospital is now over and I'm at my mums. I had the surgery on Tuesday and felt like I'd been run over by a truck! And I'm at the point whether I don't know if it is pain from the "stab wounds" or wind which is just as painful. Every day I get better though and I can see a little light at the end of the tunnel. I've been going into your site Myf to see where you were up to at this point! I'll fill you all in more tomorrow but for now I need some more sleep. Thanks for all your good wishes - they are more than welcome.

Glad to hear you are home and all is good. Well, except for the sore bit. If it is gas, just little walks, degas and peppermint tea are your best friends. Are you taking the pain relief that hospital gave/recommended? I think I was pretty lucky with mine, but even if you keep up the soluble panadol every 4 hours for a couple of days and see if it takes the edge off. It will all pass. I hope you are being spoilt by your mum.

Because I'm your good friend, I took it upon myself to celebrate your successful surgery.
Now, we both have something in common. I too, am in pain. My eyelashes hurt. I can hear the hairs in my ears growing. Champagne is no longer my friend!
Here's to soluble pain relief.
Talk to you later.xxxx

Hey Kath
I'm not really a bad friend, nor did I forget you. Have been thinking about you and have finally figured out how to leave a comment and have the computer cos everyone is now in bed. Hope you will be soon enjoying your "new life" with your new body. It is about time you did something for you and if this makes you happy then OK. Maybe now you can jump off the warddrobe instead of John. You'll always be one of my bestest friends and just know that I love you no matter what. xxxx
