Lifes a Bitch sometimes

It must be the week for it! I had a really bad day on Tuesday. Had a bit of a "misunderstanding" with one of my work mates and ended up snotting and sooking about that for a while. Then as I was just starting to recover I had a phone call which unhinged me again and off I went. Long story but it's a neverending fight for services for Jess that really gets my bloody boiling! Govt depts are the worst to tackle and I"m just the little black duck to take on the fight. I hate injustice and when it comes to my girl then I get even more feisty.

Today was a better day - I had a meeting with the Disability Advocacy Service and have found an ally who is going to help me which is great. I also handed in all my evidence for the course I'm claiming my RPL's for and was relieved to do so as it's been a big job gathering it all! Hopefully this will give me a Cert III in Govt and a Cert III in Business.

OK, because I love you, I'll tell you a couple of secrets....

Life can be a bitch....
Govt Depts suck.
Work colleagues are evil...
Studying as well as working is just plain stupid...

AND, yr entire dump sounded so much like the Kathy that we all and love... that tigress of a mother who puts her daughters first and is willing to take on all who she feels is not giving her children their dues... and who doesn't take sh!t from the people who share her air for 8 hrs a day.

Re; the RPL - you go girl! You know you are a legend!!! (If I bribe you enough can u do 2990 words for me by the end of the month?).

love u. breathe.

I love Karen - she said lots of things I was going to say. Specially the breathe bit. Heck, I'll say it anyway - breathe. I'm so glad you have an ally in the battles you need to face - every bit helps.

My goodness, maybe I should tell those govt depts that they are crossing the wrong person!! God help them when you are finished with them. They don't know you like we do - wave a red flag at you and all systems go!! You go girl.

As for the RPL - hope they recognise it. In my area they are very selective with this. For eg, I did "Train The Trainer" at Wello, another training course here, and then had to do Cert IV Assessment and Workplace Training just to do the same job I have been doing for 28 years (god I've been in this job toooo long).

Anyway, keep strong. Lots of Love
